BEMIDJI, MINNESOTA (February 28, 2012) – Becoming a bicycle commuter may be a bit intimidating for a variety of reasons, but the benefits to your health, wellness and pocketbook all stand to gain from making a commitment to bike to work.
Last Friday (2/24/12), CNN released a video story titled “Cyclists Hit the Road As Gas Prices Rise”. http://edition.cnn.com/video/#/video/living/2012/02/24/endo-bicyclists-gas-prices.cnn League of American Bicyclists have seen a 70% increase in bicycle commuters and indicate that sticker shock at the gas pump may be driving people to switch their choice in transportation from car to bicycle. Andy Clarke, League of American Bicyclists, reminds people that you “don’t have to be Lance Armstrong…[to bike to work]”.
