Fresh snow in Bemidji – it’s time to go skiing

BEMIDJI, MINNESOTA (March 1, 2012) – Fresh snow makes for perfect conditions to go skiing, boarding or tubing , or maybe enjoy all three! This winter has no doubt been unique with less snow than normal; however, Buena Vista Ski Area, located 12 miles north of Bemidji on County #15 (Irvine Avenue), is a great spot to enjoy outdoor sports in Bemidji.
Friday, March 2nd, 2012, Buena Vista Ski Area is offering a “Thank Goodness It’s Friday (TGIF)” special. Here are the details, which can be found online at http://www.bvskiarea.com/PDF/TGIF.pdf.
Friday, March 2nd, 2012, at Buena Vista Ski Area:
Friday hours & rates – 10AM-3PM, Lift $15, Ski rental $11, and Board rental $20.
Friday hours & rates – 4PM-close (8PM), Lift $9, Ski rental $9, Board rental $18, and Tubing (2 hours) $9.
ONLY 4 weekends left to enjoy skiing, boarding and tubing at Buena Vista Ski Area! According to their website, tomorrow and next Friday, March 9th, are the last two Fridays of the season and Sunday, March 25th marks the very last day of the season at Buena Vista Ski Area. This is your last chance to kick up some powder on the slopes and exercise, while enjoying the fresh air and wonderful sounds of carving skis in the snow, right here in the outdoors of northern Minnesota.
